We will work with you around your class schedule, but generally require interns to work a minimum of 2-3 full days per week (15-20 hrs/week). The pay is $16/ hour.
BECK Media and Marketing (beckmedia.com) is a public relations firm that partners with leading businesses at the intersection of media and technology to influence audiences, build brands and create value while caring for our employees every step of the way. A few of our clients include: Paramount+, Pluto TV, BET+, Spotify, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), Disney Branded Television, National Geographic, WEBTOON, various production companies, and more.
For our internship program, we’re looking for candidates who are excited to learn from a group of dynamic PR professionals. BECK Media’s internship program will introduce students to the business of public relations and communications in an agency setting, and offer them an opportunity to be involved and trained in daily account activities for national clients.
Interns will be mentored by project leads on assignments such as building media lists, drafting pitches and press releases, creating clip reports, and brainstorming creative stunts and activations. Our main goal is to ensure you learn and come out of the internship with a better understanding of PR and the media landscape.
While this internship will be remote, if you are local, there may be opportunities to work events or cowork in-person if based in one of the cities where we have an office – New York, Atlanta, Austin or Los Angeles.
